Welcome to My Site

For this piece, I used sound samples produced by stellar data (frequency, amplitude, and phase) made by asteroseismologists.  Asteroseismology is a recent research domain studying the internal structure of pulsating stars through the interpretation of their frequency spectra.  With these sound samples, the oscillations are made humanly  audible by measuring the light variation of these stars.  Inspired by this process I aim to work with MIT radio astronomers here at the Haystack Observatory and create a stellar soundscape for particular research done here at MIT.  Kind thanks to Don Kurtz and other astereoseismologists probing stellar data.
